A three-language site, built as one static file.
Loongink’s own website. A new design direction, a static build, and a type system that survives English, Chinese, and Khmer.

01Context
The site had to become the first piece of evidence.
The first version was a four-page brochure. It explained the lifecycle, but a stranger could not tell what the studio had made, for whom, or how. No client case studies were public. The site itself had to carry the first proof.
02Model
Three locales, one layout, no runtime translation.
English lives at `/`, Chinese at `/zh/`, Khmer at `/km/`. One layout and one design system hold all three. The home page became a project file; the services page became the lifecycle; this page is the template for the next case files.
03Build
Static pages, a small Worker, and a font pipeline.
VuePress 2 renders the pages; Vue 3 components hold the design system; a Cloudflare Worker handles locale negotiation and the contact endpoint. Fonts are self-hosted, the Chinese subset is rebuilt at build time, and the CSP, cache headers, sitemap and hreflang are generated with the site.
04Result
A small, current file instead of a capability deck.
The site now has a clear next step, a real case template, and a build that can ship without a runtime framework. The next content is client cases and team profiles — not another layer of decoration.
05Retro
What worked, and what we would change.
What worked: the ink and vermillion palette, the five-stage line, the static build, the subset font pipeline. What we would change: the first version led with adjectives and hid the work. v2 leads with evidence and a clearer next step.
